I forgot I had this! [08 Mar 2009|05:10pm] [ mood | contemplative ] So I stumbled upon my lj again. I havent updated for 2 years. weird!! Remember when I was obsessed with this and I would update it like 32 times a day?! I am going to Portland tomorrow to see le parents and then next week I'm going to bend! yayyy! i'm excited except I feel that all of my friends have moved away so that means I'll basically just be sitting on the couch watching tv for a few days until its time for me to go visit my ADORABLE nephew in Montana. I'm graduating soon and i'm so excited! Ive spent this entire school year freaked out about where I would be after college and i'm so relieved that I finally have a plan! In July i'm moving to Cambodia to be an English teacher in the Peace Corps. I'm so excited and soooooo nervous. I don't know any khmer and I'm afraid that i'm going to be living in a village with hardly any electricity. I'm most afraid of the creepy crawly spiders, rodents, and mosquitos. I'm convinced that i'll be the one that gets dengue fever or malaria. I'm ready to trade in my spendy jeans and cushy lifestyle for a more modest one but I'm not sure how ready I am to have to use a squatty potty for the next 2 years. I'm going to miss the life that I have here. and the people. gahhhhhhhhhhh. 5 cook| wink wink.

ulcer! [13 Nov 2006|03:35am] [ mood | drained ] it is 2:30 in the morning. I update my livejournal about twice a year. i can't sleep. I CAN'T SLEEP. i think i had too much sugar before bed. ha. im getting to that point in the quarter where i feel overwhelmed with school. I need a break! i am going to get an ulcer. i cant sleep because i'm stressed. i went 2 months without having a couch in my apartment. i would just sit on the floor and watch tv. i finally broke and bought some Ikea furniture. lame. 1 cook| wink wink.

ohgod. [16 May 2006|09:17pm] [ mood | distressed ] I just witnessed my first shooting. Me and my friend Maya were eating dinner outside of a restaurant and seriously less than 15 feet in front of us a guy pulled out a gun and shot the other guy. everyone that was sitting outside ducked onto the ground. we thought he missed the guy but apparently he got shot 3 times. and then the shooter ran away i seriously have never been so scared in my life. http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/local/270515_shooting17ww.html 4 cook| wink wink.
